The International Workshop on Next Generation of Intelligent Systems (NGIS 2021) will be organized at University of Jeddah, Collage of Computer Science and Engineering, Saudi Arabia on December 15th, 2021. NGIS 2021 will brings together international experts, researchers, and practitioners, to present original work on various aspects related to Data Science, Intelligent Systems and Networking. The NGIS 2021 workshop will occur with the 5th international Future Networks and Distributed Systems Conference (ICFNDs) which is being held in Dubai, UEA from 15th-16th December 2021.

Call for Papers

Prospective authors are invited to submit full-length original and previously unpublished papers. Submitted papers will be peer-reviewed by at least two reviewers. The workshop organizers reserve the right to not include a paper to the Proceedings if the workshop registration fee is not paid or if the paper is not presented on the NGIS 2020 workshop. The NGIS 2021 published in ACM International Conference Proceedings Series (ICPS). ACM ICPS is indexed in DBLP, Scopus and Thomson Reuters.

You need to have an EasyChair account to submit your papers. If you need to edit any author information or resubmit your paper, it may be done up until the submission deadline. ACM ICPS are published in the ACM Digital Library and indexed in DBLP, Scopus and Thomson Reuters.

The ISBN number assigned to ICFNDS 2021 is 978-1-4503-8734-7

Make sure to read the detailed author guidelines (Tex User Guide,Windows User Guide ,Mac2011 User Guide ) BEFORE you create your submission. All paper submissions (5 - 12 pages including references) should be written in English and submitted through the online submission system and strictly adhering to the specified format to be considered for reviewing and publication. Authors wishing to present a poster and/or demo may submit a 1 to 2 page extended abstract, which, if accepted, will appear in the conference proceedings.

The current ACM proceedings templates in Word and LaTeX formats can be downloaded from here. If you any problems with the templates, please contact ACM’s TeX support team at Aptara (acmtexsupport@aptaracorp.com). The TPC chairs may immediately reject submissions that violate the formatting requirements. The submission system can report some formatting violations in papers that you upload. You can also visually inspect a page-by-page report of your paper format using this online tool.

Please note that ICFNDS 2021 proceedings will be published by ACM ICPS and therefore all the policies and regulations of ACM ICPS will be applied as detailed in the (ACM Publication Policies).

Accepted papers

Each paper must deal with original and unpublished work, not submitted for publication elsewhere (copyright problems fall entirely under the responsibility of the authors).

Each paper will be reviewed by experts in the relevant field based on its originality, timeliness, significance, relevance, and clarity of presentation ensuring the publication of only top-quality contributions. When a paper is accepted at least one of the authors has to register to the conference and deliver the related talk.

Adel Alshamrani

is an assistant professor in department of cybersecurity,
College of Computer Science and Engineering at University of Jeddah, Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
He received his B.S. degree in computer science from Umm Al-Qura University, Saudi Arabia in 2007, M.S. degree in computer science from La Trobe University Melbourne, Australia, in 2010, and PhD in computer science from Arizona State University in 2018.
He has more than ten years of work experience in information security, network engineering, and teaching.
His research interests include information security, intrusion detection, software defined networking, and application of AI and Machine Learning in the field of security..
He used to be the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at the University of Jeddah.
